PURPOSE: Transgenic mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) containing apolipoprotein AI gene and a method for producing the same are provided, which transgenic mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) over-express the apolipoprotein AI gene, thereby mass-producing high density of lipoprotein(HDL) which regulates cholesterol metabolism in vivo. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the transgenic mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) overproducing high density of lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-CHO) comprises the steps of: constructing an expression vector containing cDNA of mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) apolipoprotein AI having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1; micro-injecting the cDNA of mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) apolipoprotein AI containing expression vector into Misgurnus mizolepis; and hatching the transgenic mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis), wherein the expression vector is pFV4mApoA I; and the mud loachover(Misgurnus mizolepis) apolipoprotein AI has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2.
