METHOD FOR REGISTERING NETWORK INFORMATION IN MOBILE TERMINAL BY USING SMART CARD WHERE THE NETWORK INFORMATION IS STORED

PURPOSE: A method for registering network information by using a smart card in a mobile terminal is provided to set network information of a mobile terminal by using network information stored in a smart card. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal receives system network set information from a mobile communication network(200). The mobile terminal is connected to a smart card(201) and checks whether network set information exists in the smart card(202). If network set information does not exist in the smart card, the mobile terminal stores the network set information in a network set information file of the smart card(203). If the network set information exists in the smart card, the mobile terminal receives the network set information stored in the smart card, compares it with the system network set information, and if they are different, the mobile terminal automatically registers the different information in the network set information file of the smart card(204).
