PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming an ice cream cone wafer having a simple structure to smoothly operate a cone forming hole is provided. It reduces mechanical noise generated during the formation of the cone wafer and prevents abrasion, breakage and release of parts and permits the formation of the cone wafer in a safe and hygienic manner, thereby improving the product quality. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for forming ice cream cone wafer comprises: a drum(30) installed rotatively at a frame(10) to support a plurality of cone forming frames(20); a Geneva drive(40) and a driving cam(50) for intermittently driving the drum; a plurality of transfer guide rails(60) secured to the outer peripheral surface of the drum; a slider(80) movably assembled to the transfer guide rails to support a transfer shaft(71) of a cone forming hole(70); a transfer cam(90) disposed at the lower part of the drum to transfer the slider to the left and right; a rotation guide rail(100) installed at the upper part of the frame to guide the rotation of the slider; a timing belt(200) connected to the gear(72) of the transfer shaft to rotate the cone forming hole.
