PURPOSE: An ashes box for employing ashes management automation equipment is provided to easily move the ashes box by using the ashes management automation equipment. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a laying ashes box for laying an ashes management automation equipment includes a body of the ashes box(81) and a cover(83). The body of the ashes box(81) includes a first depository for keeping an article left by the departed and a second depository for keeping ashes. The body of the ashes box(81) has a gripping section allowing a transportation robot to transport the body. Two or more the gripping sections are deep-set on a lower part of the body of the ashes box(81). The gripping section is formed at both sides of the body of the ashes box(81) as a deep-set groove. Bar codes are attached to the body of the ashes box in order to identify information of the departed.
