PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing porous precious metal sintered body is provided to obtain aesthetic surface of the sintered body and greatly reduce manufacturing cost by using fine metal powder having particle size of 50 microns or less and form pores at a place where the organic binder is removed by removing organic binder. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of forming a preform by press forming the mixture in a press mold after mixing fine precious metal powder having particle size between 1 micron and 50 microns with an organic binder decomposed at high temperature; and a step of heating the preform in the atmosphere so that the binder is removed and the fine precious metal powder is sintered, wherein the precious metal is gold, gold alloy, silver or silver alloy and contains less than 50% of alloy amount, wherein the organic binder includes polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl butyral and methyl cellulose, and wherein the binder is removed in the temperature range of 200 to 500 deg.C, and the fine precious metal powder is sintered in the temperature range of 600 to 900 deg.C in the preform heating step.
