DNA CHIP FOR DIAGNOSIS OF ENTERIC VIRAL DISEASES OF SWINE FROM NUMEROUS SAMPLES FOR A SHORT TIME

PURPOSE: A DNA chip for diagnosis of enteric viral diseases of swine is provided, thereby easily diagnosing the enteric viral diseases of swine from numerous samples for a short time. CONSTITUTION: The DNA chip for diagnosis of enteric viral diseases of swine comprises one nucleotide sequence which complementarily binds with a gene specific to swine enteritis causing virus, and is selected from SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:10, wherein the swine enteritis causing virus is TGEV(transmissible gastroenteritis virus), PEDV(porcine epidemic diarrhea virus), PECV(porcine enteric calicivirus), PRV gp A(porcine group A rotavirus) or PRV gp C(porcine group C rotavirus). The DNA chip for diagnosis of enteric viral diseases of swine comprises (i) a probe which complementarily binds with the gene specific to swine enteritis causing virus, and has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:10, and a positive control probe which has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:11; and (ii) a substrate which has an aldehyde group on its surface, and is linked to an amine group of the probes with the surface aldehyde group through Schiff's base reaction.
