PURPOSE: A circuit for driving an organic electro luminescent device and an organic electro luminescent display device using the same are provided, which controls white balance accurately even when dynamic range of reference current control as to R,G,B display color is narrow. CONSTITUTION: According to the circuit for driving an organic EL(Electro Luminescent) device(9) performing current-driving of an organic EL panel through a port pin within display period according to the first timing control signal, a timing signal generation circuit generates a plurality of second timing control signals delayed from the first timing control signal in sequence. A reset pulse generation circuit(3R,3G,3B) selects one of the plurality of second timing control signals according to data, and generates a reset pulse having a front edge determined according to the selected second timing control signal and a rear edge determined according to the first timing control signal. A switch circuit(SW) responds to the reset pulse to reset the organic EL device of the organic EL panel connected to the port pin by connecting the port pin to a bias line. The brightness of the organic EL panel is controlled by controlling display period according to the data.
