PURPOSE: A height adjustable desk is provided to allow the user, especially, children to easily adjust the height of the desk or chair by rotating a leg unit of the desk or chair while completely preventing the separation risk of the leg unit. CONSTITUTION: The height adjustable desk has a body(1) formed with holes(3) for the insertion of legs(2). The respective insertion holes are formed along an inner circumference thereof with a screw portion(30), and a lower end region of the insertion hole is formed with a stepped portion(44) to form a support hole(4) having an inner diameter smaller than that of the insertion hole. Correspondingly, the leg has a head portion(20) to be held on the stepped portion, and a screw portion(21) is formed along an outer circumference of the head portion.
