PURPOSE: A liquid droplet discharge device and a liquid droplet discharge method are provided to suppress the degradation of assembling precision and the discharge precision of a high-viscosity liquid due to thermal deformation by preventing the displacement of the gap between discharge heads. CONSTITUTION: A liquid droplet discharge device(10) comprises a discharge head(34) discharging a functional liquid from a nozzle by pressurizing the functional liquid in a cavity, an attachment plate(51) having openings(51a) in which plural discharge heads are placed, a tank storing the functional liquid discharged from the discharge head, and a liquid supply path supplying the functional liquid from the tank to the discharge head. Herein, plural discharge heads are placed in the openings of the attachment plate under the temperature the same as the temperature for discharging the functional liquid.
