PURPOSE: Provided is hot water or 75% ethanol extracts of Rooibos tea and barley leave which are useful as an antioxidant and a DNA damage inhibitor. CONSTITUTION: The composition for antioxidation and DNA damage inhibition is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, extracts of Rooibos tea and barley leave obtained by using water or 75% ethanol. The extracts have excellent antioxidation and DNA damage protection effects.
