PURPOSE: A housing combination structure of a starter motor for a vehicle is provided to cut down the production cost by easily assembling a lever and a hook of a magnet switch on a full assembly line of the starter motor by changing the shape of a housing and to improve durability and reliability of goods by preventing the reduction of combining force caused by self-vibration of the motor. CONSTITUTION: A housing(30) is mounted to a flange unit(21) of a front bracket(20) on a yoke(10) of a starter motor. A magnet switch(40) with a hook(41) reciprocating back and forth by an electrical operation is embedded in the housing. A lever(50) for moving a pinion to operate an engine is combined with the hook of the magnet switch in the front side of the magnet switch. To easily assemble the housing embedding the magnet switch to the front bracket without interference with the hook and the flange unit, internal threads(32) are formed on the inner diameter of one end of the cylindrical housing and external threads(22) are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the flange unit of the front bracket mounting the housing.
