PURPOSE: A method for a predestination chatting service using the Internet is provided to promote the chatting service by forming virtual predestination for each user when the user subscribes for the chatting service and inducing the interesting chatting between users with the predestination. CONSTITUTION: An automatic message recommending chatting connection between users forming the virtual predestination and a virtual predestination story are stored in a database of a server. Each user receives a predestination number based on a gender(ST304). The user is connected to the online chatting by logging in to the server(ST305). The predestination number of the user is compared with the predestination number of other connected users(ST307). If the same predestination number is detected, the automatic message and the preset predestination story are transmitted to both users(ST310). If both users approve predestination registration, both users are registered as the predestination and registration information is stored in the database. When the user registered as the predestination is connected to the chatting, a one-to-one chatting service is provided to both users.
