摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a Pt-Si catalyst for cathode of a phosphoric acid fuel cell which provides the Pt-Si catalyst having good reactivity on oxygen reduction and acid-stability. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of (a) washing a Pt/C catalyst with a mixed gas where the ratio of H2 to N2 is 1¯10; (b) contacting SiH4 carried by a carrier gas with the washed Pt/C catalyst to deposit the SiH4 on the catalyst surface; and (c) contacting the SiH4 deposited Pt/C catalyst with oxygen to oxidize the SiH4.
