METHOD FOR MAKING SYNTHETIC RUBBER BLEND MOLDING HAVING EXCELLENT OIL RESISTANCE AND LOW- AND HIGH- TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A method for making of a synthetic rubber blend molding is provided to obtain moldings having a light weight and excellent workability, low- and high-temperature resistance, which are useful for a fuel tank liner for an airplane. CONSTITUTION: The method for making moldings of a synthetic rubber blend comprises the steps of: mixing and kneading acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber(NBR) with fluoro-silicone rubber(FVMQ) with a weight ratio of 1:9 to 9:1 at a low temperature of 30-50 deg.C; adding sulfur and 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl peroxide to the rubber mixture as additives and blending the resultant mixture; molding the rubber blend into a desired shape; and curing the moldings.
