A composition of flame retarding rubber foams with ground tire rubber and tire cord fibers and its manufacturing method

PURPOSE: A flame retardant rubber foam composition using the pulverized waste tire and its preparation method are provided, to prevent the environmental pollution by recycling the waste tire rubber powder and the waste tire cord yarn and by not employing a halogen-based flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: The rubber foam composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a resin component comprising 50-99 wt% of at least one rubber resin component selected from the group consisting of a nitrile rubber and an ethylene-propylene copolymer, 1-30 wt% of waste tire rubber pulverized one and 0-30 wt% of nylon yarn and polyester yarn, a tire cord; 100-350 parts by weight of a flame retardant component comprising 10-300 parts by weight of Al(OH)3, 0-250 parts by weight of Mg(OH)2, 5-30 parts by weight of Sb2O3, 0-20 parts by weight of yellow soil, 0-30 parts by weight of 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)propanoic acid (H-205), and 0-30 parts by weight of 9.10-dihydro-9-oxa-10- £2,3-di(hydroxyethoxy)carbonylpropyl|-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (H-201); and common additives containing 10-40 parts by weight of a foaming agent.
