PROTECTION METHOD OF VENT HOLE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF CASTABLE IN LADLE BOTTOM

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for protecting vent holes in constructing a castable of a ladle bottom is provided to protect the vent holes in opened state after constructing the castable by melting paraffin in heating the castable, thereby it is not necessary to remove paraffin additionally. CONSTITUTION: A method for protecting vent holes(4) in constructing a castable of the bottom of a ladle(1) includes the steps of inserting materials(7) having low melting point melted at the temperature of 100 to 200 deg.C into the inside of the vent holes formed at the ladle bottom, forming a castable(3) on the inner surface of the ladle bottom and heating the castable.
