The method involves injecting a particle-like filling material (8) i.e. insulating material, into a gap i.e. air gap, of a multi-layered house wall (1), and providing a set of vent holes (9) in an outer wall (2) limiting the gap in a sequence. The vent holes are approached to a point (6) at which the filling material is injected into the gap, where diameter of the vent holes is 40 to 60 percentages of width of the gap. The vent holes are provided into joints of the outer wall limiting the gap and provided in the gap during injection of the material.
