PURPOSE: Method and structure for finishing the surface of a panel for furniture are provided to round sides and corners of a panel by attaching a melamine resin attachment sheet and a corner cap to the outer face of the panel. CONSTITUTION: Each corner of a panel(100) is rounded to form a curved face(140). Corners of a sheet(200) are cut to form cutting portions. The sheet is attached to a planar portion, a side(120) and the other planar portion(130) of the panel. Each corner of the panels attached with the sheet is cut to form cut portions(150). Corner caps(300) are fitted in the corresponding to the cut portions. Suspension or displacement of the seat due to the exposure of the connecting portion is avoided. Easy breakage of the corner by an external pressure is prevented.
