FLEXIBLE SELF-EXPANDABLE STENT METHODS FOR BILE DUCT AND THE SELF-EXPANDABLE STENT THEREOF

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an expansion tool for a bile duct using a shape memory alloy and a manufactured expansion tool are provided to lead smooth flow of bile while reducing the pain of a patient, and to prevent the adsorption of biliary residuum. CONSTITUTION: The expansion tool to be installed into a certain stricture region of a bile duct for expanding a passage of the stricture region is manufactured by coupling thin three wires, more particularly, a first cylindrical expansion tool(X), a second cylindrical expansion tool(Y) and a third cylindrical expansion tool(Z), each of them having a diameter of 0.1mm to 0.5mm and being made of high elasticity shape memory alloy. The first and second expansion tools are formed by bending two wires so that they intersect with each other at different positions to have a diagonal ratio of 1 to 3 in a circumferential direction, thereby defining a variable diamond shaped space and a shrinkable crossing portion. The third expansion tool is formed by penetrating the residual one wire through the first and second cylindrical expansion tools to uniformly divide the variable diamond shaped space of them into four second variable diamond shaped spaces.
