PURPOSE: An extra-width PC girder block and a process for construction of bridge by using the same are provided to form a box-type girder bridge placed after the box girder by applying I-type PC girder without alternative constructional equipments. CONSTITUTION: The PC girder block comprises a girder block(1a) placed outside and another girder block(1b) place among the bridge. The outside girder block(1a) is formed of upper/lower flanges(2,3), connection bars(7a,7b) projected from the flanges(2,3), longitudinal rib(5) having a hole(9a) at both ends of one side of a web(4), sheath(6) having a bored hole(9b) between the other side of the web(4) and the lower flange(3) and another holes(8a,b) passing through the web(4). The intermediate girder block(1b) comprises connection bars(7c,7d) projected from the flanges(2,3), sheathes(6a,6b) having a bored hole(9c) between both ends of the web(4) and the lower flange(3) and another holes(8c,8d) passing through the web(4).
