Sample pre-treatment method adapted to oxygen and nitrogen content analysis

PURPOSE: A pre-treatment method for analyzing content of oxygen and nitride in a sample is provided to minimize a measuring error and to reduce cost by pre-treating the sample after cutting the sample in a proper size using a diamond wheel. CONSTITUTION: Impurities attached to a surface of a sample are removed by performing a surface-treatment process using a grinder having a diamond wheel. Then, the sample is cut into a plurality of slice-type samples by using a diamond wheel of the grinder. The slice-type samples are washed and dried in order to remove impurities from the slice-type samples. An rpm of the diamond wheel of the grinder is in a range about 2000 to 3000, and moving velocity of the diamond wheel of the grinder is in a range about 0.04 to 0.06mm/minute. The slice-type sample has a width of 2mm and a length of 3mm.
