PURPOSE: An apparatus for detachably attaching an automatic welder to an inner wall of an LNG carrier is provided to improve working efficiency and to prevent workers from being damaged by allowing a worker to attach/detach the automatic welder to/from a sidewall, a bottom wall or inclined parts of an LNG storage tank. CONSTITUTION: An automatic welder attaching/detaching apparatus includes a body(10), a screw bar(40), a welder holder(120), a rotating arm(50) and a wire remote controller(130). The body(10) is formed at upper and lower portions thereof with upper and lower plates(70,90). A sidewall(170) is attached to both sides of the body(10). A supporting rod(160) is rotatably coupled to the sidewall(170) of the body(10) in such a manner that the supporting rod(160) is rotated through 360 degrees. Rail parts(20) are symmetrically and vertically aligned at both sides of the body(10). An upper end of the screw bar(40) is inserted into a bearing(80) installed at the upper plate(70). The rotating arm(50) is hinged to a hinge bracket(32) of a supporting plate(30). The wire remote controller(130) controls an operation of a winch motor(110) and a screw driving motor(100).
