SAFETY APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING OVERLOAD OF WINCH, FOR PREVENTING BREAKAGE OF WINCH AND WATER GATE

PURPOSE: A safety apparatus for preventing overload of a winch is provided to prevent breakage of a water gate and the winch caused by descent and ascent of the water gate by quickly intercepting load of output side rapidly increasing by an obstacle to stop the movement of the water gate and making a motor idle. CONSTITUTION: A safety apparatus for preventing overload of a winch has a torque limit coupling. The torque limit coupling comprises a first sprocket having a shaft of a worm geared speed reducer formed to the inner peripheral surface of one side to transmit or interrupt rotational force between a motor and the worm gear speed reducer; a second sprocket(110b) fastened to the first sprocket by a chain(112); a hub(120) having one end rotating on the inner peripheral surface of the second sprocket and the other end connected to a rotating shaft of the motor; a pair of friction plates(130b) coming in contact with the inside and outside of the second sprocket and having high coefficient of friction wearing by friction; a pressure plate(140) coming in contact with the friction plates coming in contact with the outside of the second sprocket and axially giving pressure to the friction plates; a disk spring(150) coming in contact with the outside of the pressure plate and doubling the axial pressure; a pressure control nut(160) controlling the pressure of the friction plates by coming in contact with the outside of the disk spring and controlling the elastic force of the disk spring; and a locking washer(170) fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the hub in a screw type. The locking washer comes in contact with the pressure control nut. Plural through screw holes(172) are axially formed in the locking washer.
