PURPOSE: A method for compensation a thermal bias drift of a vibratory gyroscope is provided to simply and effectively correct the thermal bias drift of the vibratory gyroscope by using the fuzzy logic. CONSTITUTION: Temperature variation generated in a temperature chamber(10) is displayed as a temperature variation waveform(12). A temperature variation value(14) is detected and metered based on the temperature variation waveform(12). Temperature variation detected from an output waveform(22) of a vibratory gyroscope(20), which is bias-drifted due to the temperature variation, is metered as a bias drift output value. Distributed values shown in the output waveform(22) of the vibratory gyroscope(20) are calculated through a linear least square algorithm thereby obtaining the ideal fuzzy logic(40). Then, the metered temperature variation value(14) is applied to the fuzzy logic(40), thereby obtaining a predetermined value. The corrected output value is obtained by subtracting the predetermined value from the metered temperature variation value.
