PURPOSE: A system for selling an Internet book coupon by on-line and an operating method thereof are provided to enable each member to buy a desired book through on/off-line member store linked with an Internet book coupon selling system. CONSTITUTION: A bookstore member management database(220) registers the basic information for the on/off-line bookstore member. An Internet book coupon management database(230) registers the information of the book coupon held by each member and the use particulars information. A purchase management database(240) registers the purchase information on the on/off-line bookstores by each member. A data input part inputs an operation signal of each member. A member processor processes a member registration procedure and a member certification procedure. An Internet book coupon processor offers an operation result according to a service selected by the member and updates the databases. A data output part offers the result information to the member.
