FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents comprising derivatives of gamma-aminobutyric acid and influencing on cardiovascular system. Invention describes new 4-amino-3- phenylbutanoic acid salts of the general formula (I) wherein n = 3; X means citric acid; n = 2; X means oxalic acid, succinic acid, malic acid. These salts elicit anti-ischemic, hypotensive, antiarrhythmic, nootropic and antihypoxic activity. Medicinal agent comprises salts of the formula (I) taken in the effective dose and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The combination of pharmacological properties revealed in new salts and absent in the parent compounds in combination with low toxicity provides their as perspective drugs for treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
