FIELD: chemical and atomic industries; radio medicine. SUBSTANCE: homogeneous longitudinal magnetic field is built up by solenoid 3 in working vacuum chamber 1 disposed in cryostat 2. Left-hand part of chamber 1 accommodates plasma source incorporating crucible 4 for evaporating element being separated, and electron gun 11 producing electron beam 10 passed through metal pipeline 12. Plasma source also has electron-cyclotron discharge zone 13 and screens 14 for accumulating product being evaporated. Atoms that have not managed to ionize are collected on screen 14 and can be easily extracted from chamber 1 and conveyed to crucible 4 again. Microwave radiation is passed to ionization area through facility that has waveguide 5 and mirror 6. Electrode 15 is designed to reflect electrons which eliminates losses. Device is provided with high-frequency antenna 7 affording selective heating of ions. Target ions acquire high transversal energy and path 8 due to resonant ion-cyclotron heating. Nontarget isotopes use path 9. Collector system is disposed in right-hand part of chamber 1 past heating area in weak homogeneous magnetic field zone and has shields 17 protecting metal target-ion collecting plates 16 and dumping plate 18 transversal to flow. Plates 16 are arranged radially to each other. EFFECT: enhanced productivity and extremely high efficiency of separating high-melting elements. 7 cl, 6 dwg
