FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes units 8 for forward motion of aircraft and hydraulic power plant connected with main engine of aircraft and used for placing bladed main rotor 1 into operation for vertical takeoff and landing. System is provided with additional engine 2 which is mounted in tail and/or lower section of aircraft for gradual inclination and turn between two extreme (vertical and horizontal) positions. Units 8 are switched off during vertical takeoff and landing and are switched on during self- supported horizontal flight. Bladed main rotor and additional engine are switched-on during vertical takeoff and landing and at transient stage and are switched-off during self-supported horizontal flight.
