METHOD FOR COMPLEX EVALUATION OF TUMOR SENSITIVITY TO CHEMOTHERAPY AT MAMMARY GLAND CANCER

FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: the suggested innovation deals with intravenous injection of bromodioxyuridine (BDU) solution 1 h before testing, obtaining tumor part for testing, fixation in formalin solution and evaluation of proliferative activity in preparation after chemotherapy in neoadjuvant mode. At BDU index values being below 8%, Ki-67 being below 24%, alterations in tumor differentiation from low towards higher ones, degree of malignancy from high to low it is useful to conduct chemotherapy by the same scheme; higher BDU and Ki- 67 values, absence of the above-mentioned tendency towards alterations in differentiation and degree of tumor malignancy enable to change chemotherapy scheme prescribed in adjuvant mode. EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation and prediction.
