FIELD: electrochemistry; anodizing of parts made from rectifying metals: aluminum, titanium, tantalum and the like, as well as their alloys; mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes placing the part into electrolyte on current-conducting holder, coating it with insulating material, forming working voltage between part and electrolyte and increasing voltage for producing micro-arc discharge on surface of part; holder is coated on its outside with electro-insulating material at air-electrolyte interface.
