FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying force of measuring machine to anatomical preparation of vertebral column segments under study via movable platforms. The platforms have pivoted rotation center and are able to make appropriate slope or displacement corresponding to deformations arisen in preparation under study. The pivoted center simulates adjacent vertebra mobility in vivo under vertical physiological loads applied and do not hinder any bending, compression, torsion or shift deformations occurring in preparation under study. The segments are fastened on external vertebrae tightening them with bolts over body waist perimeter so that vertebra rotation centers are arranged along single line connecting the pivoted rotation centers of movable platforms corresponding to vertical axis of the vertebral column. Distance from platform rotation center to vertebra center fixed thereon corresponding to distance between vertebral column segments. EFFECT: maximum possible approximation to living conditions; enabled manifestations of various injuries taking place in the vertebral column in life. 4 dwg
