METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF COASTLINE OF CLOSED AND OPEN WATER BASINS

FIELD: cartography; making charts of coastlines of inland waters.;SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes finding coordinate points on digital chart between land and water surface by mathematical calculations; finding of line of intersection of surface describing relief of ground surface and underwater slope with averaged level surface. Coordinates of points of averaged level surface are obtained by location of surface of water basin from satellite or flying vehicle or by use of data of hydrological stations, platforms and data of expeditions. Data are transmitted to computer for mathematical calculations.;EFFECT: reduced labor consumption; enhanced efficiency of calculations of coordinates of coastline.;1 dwg
