FIELD: hydrogeology. SUBSTANCE: method for determination of ground water level in ground water basins includes measurement at observation point on the territory of ground water basin of initial level of ground water and change of nontidal free fall acceleration relative to reference point located on the area of constant level of ground water, and determination of level variation and the level itself at the moment of measurement by the formula for attraction of flat layer. EFFECT: higher confidence of determination of ground water level in ground water basins.
