The gas connection has a filter element. A valve system for compressed or liquefied gases has two valves (1,25) that can be coupled and a filter element (30) for binding gases that occur. Each valve has a hull (26,27) forming a chamber about the valve connection when the valves are coupled and the filter element is arranged in at least one of the hulls. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a valve system (b) a supply container for liquid ammonia (c) and a seal with filter material.
