Program generation method for stored program controls (SPCs), involves intercommunication between functional building blocks via pointers

Functional building blocks are used as an input parameter 'pointer' and file their instantaneous states (data) in data bank fields which are classed as public and global, and can access the fields in the data banks via 'pointers'. The functional building blocks can inter-communicate with one another via the 'pointers' which separate the external building blocks, the separate/individual data banks and the associated field, and thus a functional building block can read and alter data of other functional building blocks. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a 'pointer'; and (ii) a program completion generator.
