The sealing and insulation system uses flat sealing insulating panels (1) and connectors. The connectors and insulating panels have connecting areas of a first type (2, 3) for mutual connection or connecting onto structural parts. These connecting areas have apertures (4) at least in some areas so that paste or fluid substances such as mortar or adhesive can be filled in to produce the connection. Independent claim describes flexible sealing and insulating profile for covering gaps between structural parts such as walls, windows using a C or U-shaped connecting rail which fits on a second connecting area of the profile through clip or clamping connection.
