The unit has a switched mode power supply with a transformer (TR1) whose primary winding is coupled to a switching transistor (T1). A control circuit stabilizes an output voltage from a secondary winding using fly back converter principle. A downstream switching regulator functioning as step down converter (7) stabilizes the output voltage that depends on turns ratio between transformers windings.
