The modular railway platform has components made of glass fibre reinforced plastic or steel and-or a combination of glass fibre reinforced plastic and cement. The platform sections (1) have individual foundations formed as support block (2) and tie bar (8) assemblies. The platform assembly also has edging and floor sections and platform furniture (11).
