The tent has in addition to tent rods (2, 12) tension stays formed as tension flaps (4) with an edge (4a) on the tent side running along its overall length next to one of the end sections (3) of the tent rods protruding from the ground and fixedly connected to the tent canvas. The end sections of the tent rods preferably protrude inclined from the ground and have a larger cross-section than the roof sections of the tent rods (2). The tension flaps have tabs (6) for tent pegs.
