The arrangement has control lighting in the vehicle, in the form of switch location lighting (1) or instrument lighting (2), that is activated in switch-on mode. The switch location lighting or the instrument lighting is only activated for a period so that it is wholly or partly deactivated when locking the parked vehicle and reactivated when it is unlocked again.
