The drive has a spindle (10) and a spindle nut (11) engaging with a coupling element (12) for a part to be driven. A further spindle nut (15), also moved by the spindle, is positioned behind the first one, and also engages with the coupling element. The nuts are at a distance to each other, and the relative gap (22) corresponds to the permissible wear of the first nut. Both nuts are non-turnable relative to the coupling element. A securing nut (19) with emergency load bearing characteristics is located behind the second nut. The coupling element is a guide housing and an extension (18) connected to it.
