Trailer coupling for private motor vehicles has motor spindle drive unit with casing containing electric drive motor, and rotating threaded spindle protruding from casing and engaging with pivot-mounted stationary spindle nut
The trailer coupling(2) has a motor spindle drive unit(9) actuated from inside the vehicle and has a casing(10) containing an electric drive motor, and a rotating threaded spindle(11) protruding from the casing and engaging with a pivot-mounted stationary spindle nut(12). The drive casing or spindle is in drive communication with a coupling arm(5). The trailer also has an end stop(15) for the in-use position and against which is held the coupling arm or other part effecting the adjusting movement.
