An IP (Internet Protocol) packet forwarding protocol has a value in the DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) bits of the header to specify which of several routing tables for different routing principles at a network node shall be applied including use of a SST (Smallest Size Tree) routing principle with the same routing tree for all edge routers and additional service quality and bandwidth availability requirements.
