A process for preparation of structured surfaces by:(i) application of a curable substance as a carrier layer to a surface by a coating method, (ii) application of particles to the carrier layer by a coating method, and (iii) fixing of the particles to the carrier layer by curing the carrier layer is new. An Independent claim is included for a surface prepared as above.
