The method for reducing the amplitude of lateral and vertical oscillations of aircraft fuselage as caused by the dynamics of the aircraft engines, involves using a sensor-measurement system for detecting the engine vibrations/oscillations as well as control circuits for generating counter-acting control and adjustment-signals. The lateral and/or vertical acceleration on at least one engine or on the front-most engine/pylon-connection is determined by means of a redundant acceleration pick-up, and the control or adjustment-signals according to a specified control law are given on any aileron installed on the wing.
