The drive mechanism for the straight line relative movements between two surfaces or bodies, in contact with each other, has a fixed or rotating housing (4) and the body (5) to be controlled through inserted bodies (3a,3b) in contact with it. A crank (2) around the center (1) exerts a relative eccentricity on them in relation to the housing with a controlled oscillation. The body has an outer contour (6) as a cam to control the inlet/outlet valves at an internal combustion motor. The contact surfaces (7,8) at the housing and the body are flat and smooth.
