Vehicle door has a crossbeam (13) connected to the window spar frame (9, 10) at the height of the door box longitudinal support (6), and a window lifting unit (14) directly or indirectly connected to the crossbeam so that the window frame (3), crossbeam and window lifting unit form a rigid window frame module (17). The longitudinal support and the crossbeam are separated by an adjusting gap. Preferred Features: The connection between the window lifting unit and the crossbeam is produced in an intermediate assembly state. The window lifting unit has a rail (19) which is directed parallel to the window pane guides (11, 12) of the window frame. The window lifting unit is directly screwed and/or riveted directly to the crossbeam.
