The semi finished product can have at least two plate like elements (2, 3) connected together through ideal break points (4-6). Independent claim describes device with table with stop for holding flat semi finished product. The height of the stop is below the ideal break points. A hydraulic cylinder presses the free part of the product away parallel to the table towards the stop.
