The reactor (13) to apply a liquid sample on to a carrier (12), e.g. a glass slide, has a reaction chamber (11) with an inflow (22) for the sample. The chamber is structured with channels (19), defined by channel flanks (20), to give a strong equalizing effect on the flow through the chamber towards the outflow (23). A parallel wall surface is of a metal with good thermal conductivity.
