Color video signal correction device using correction matrix with matrix coefficients adjusted dependent on color tones represented by video signals

The correction device has a correction matrix (16) with multipliers (4-12) and adders (13,14,15) through which the color video signals are passed, with control of the matrix in dependence on the color tones represented by the color video signals, using correction values for the matrix coefficients, corresponding to the color tones, held in a memory (31). The effect of the color correction can be reduced for lower color saturation levels. The correction values can be supplied to the memory via a processor (39) loaded with a program for calculation of the correction values.
